HEALTHY KID'S DAY
Get the kids and the whole family involved in this YMCA day that teaches them to be healthy early. Inflatables, face painting, community services for children and much more!!! Come out to the J. F. Hurley Family YMCA (Salisbury) on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free for all ages. Be A Healthy Family Home
HALOWEEN DANCE
3rd-5th graders come and enjoy a fun and safe Halloween. October 22, 2010. 7-10 p.m. $5.00. Concessions are available for purchase.
YOUTH LOUNGE
Your YMCA Youth Lounge will give young people a safe place to call their own. A large screen T.V., video games and comfortable seating make this a great "hangout" for youth ages 11-18.

FATHER/DAUGHTER VALENTINES DANCE ***** Date Change due to inclement weather******
Fathers come and enjoy an evening of dancing and fellowship with your daughter(s). This will be a special night to remember with dancing, food and pictures.
February 27, 2010 from 6-8:30p.m. $25 per couple- $5 for each additional daughter. Daughters of all ages come and enjoy a sitdown meal and fancy dancing with dad. You must purchase tickets in advance - limited available. Pictures will also be available at affordable prices. 'Dress to Impress"- SEE YOU THEN!
YOUTH SPORTS
YMCA Youth Super Sports places a premium on providing the best possible sports experiences for all young people who participate as players and for all adults who serve as coaches, officials, and other leaders. Moreover, parents are encouraged to be involved by fulfilling constructive roles, making YMCA Youth Super Sports a fun, family affair! Program emphasis is on helping youth by not only improving their sport skills, but their life skills as well, while having fun in the process. Click here for youth sports available at the YMCA.
FUN CAMPS
A fun-filled day of safe activities on most school closings and holidays. Some activities include arts and crafts, gym games, swimming in the Family Fun Pool, climbing wall, and walleyball just to name a few!!! Camp will not be offered on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday. Register in advance by telephone. To provide proper staffing, participants must register 48 hours in advance. There will be a $5 late registration fee. Ages: K-6th grade. Cost: Members $20/day. Potential Members $40/day.
If your child is enrolled in the before and/or after school program, Fun Camp days are included in your monthly fee. Time: 6:30am-6:00pm. Participants need to bring a packed lunch, drink, snack, bathing suit and towel. For more information, contact Annette Wilson at 704-857-7011.
SUMMER DAY CAMP
A day camp experience is never forgotten!! Camp Xpress and Camp Xtreme provide a fun, safe environment for your children. Campers experience great camp fun while developing new skills, good leadership, self-reliance and Christian character. Through group activities, your child will share rewarding interpersonal relationships with young people having common values and diverse experiences. Each week is packed full of FUN and excitement- devotions, outdoor activities including playing at our new "Splash Pad", age appropriate field trips, arts and crafts, special quests - just to name a few!!!! BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
The J. Fred Corriher, Jr. YMCA after school program provides a safe & supportive environment with realistic and appropriate expectations. Our focus is to develop the whole child through the YMCA traditional curriculum: the Spirit-Mind-Body Triangle. The YMCA will provide positive interaction and exciting theme based activities that will help build strong values, enhance education, improve academic performance and promote a healthy lifestyle. SWIMMING LESSONS
Classes are offered for parent/child, preschool, youth and adult.
Members may register two weeks before each session starts. Potential members may register one week before. Check with the Aquatics section or on-line enrollment section of this site for scheduled classes and times.
